The U.S. Army Small Arms Championships (ALL-ARMY) is an annual, comprehensive live-fire training event that test Soldiers ability to employ both primary and secondary weapon systems, problem solve, and think critically under the stresses created by the competition.
The week-long training event, which is hosted by the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, recognizes marksmanship skills at the entry, intermediate and superior skill levels and is open to all components of the U.S. Army: active duty, Reserve, National Guard and ROTC.
Soldiers are encouraged to register as teams for the multiple matches in both pistol and rifle. There is even a special category for drill sergeants. (Hint Hint) However, there are also opportunities for individual Soldiers to compete in the Excellence in Competition matches, which can help earn points towards the coveted Distinguished Rifleman Badge and Distinguished Pistol Shot Badge.
Registration usually opens up in October and closes in February. So make sure you follow the U.S. Army Marksmanship Uniṯs social media pages for information on the 2022 All Army. (Seeing more teams from the 108th Training Command would be great!
