Across the 108th Training Command (IET) Drill Sergeants, Instructors, Soldiers, Leaders were doing their job to support our mission “First in Training.” The 104th Training Command (LT) could be found at West Point and Fort Knox primarily, showing Cadets what right looks like and influencing the leaders of the future. The 95th and 98th Training Divisions were scattered across Ft. Benning, Fort Sill, Fort Jackson, Fort Leonard Wood, and places in between as they influenced Basic Trainees and were the first example of NCO leadership for these young (and some not so young) recruits, turning citizens into Soldiers. Regardless of the mission, regardless of the location, Griffons, Timberwolves, Iroquois, and Mighty Men of Mertz went out and met the mission head on. Without the dedication and support of these hard working Soldiers and support staff, there would be fewer trainees influenced, fewer Cadets molded into leaders, fewer Soldiers in our ranks. Thank you for all you have done, and continue to do!
